In all that we do in West Baltimore, we follow the mission and example of the Sisters of Bon Secours. Just as their faith and compassion brought them to Baltimore, Maryland from Paris, France in 1881 to provide home-based care for the sick, we continue to grow our health system to promote quality, compassionate health care for generations to come.

The award-winning Bon Secours Baltimore Health System is a faith-based community health system located in West Baltimore. The historic Bon Secours Hospital, which has 142 acute care beds, is the first bon Secours Hospital built in the United States.

The Bon Secours of Maryland Foundation works to enrich West Baltimore communities with programs, services and grants that contribute to the long-term economic and social viability of neighborhoods. The Foundation helps to create and attract jobs, stimulate home ownership and community investment. The Bon Secours of Maryland Foundation is also helping to heal communities by decreasing crime and raising hope for an improved quality of life.
